UNDERSTANDING YOUR MUSCULAR IMBALANCES

Did you know that most of your body is water, and most of your flesh is muscles? There are many ways to relax and strengthen them, but what do you do when they get out of balance? How do you know which one to stretch and which to exercise to get back to harmony? – It is simple, during your Massage therapy analysis, you will become aware of your strength and weaknesses – i will help you do so. Imagine it like a first meet and greet between you and your body. It helps you see the big picture as well as answer your questions like:
Why does this area hurt?
What can I do to make it stop?

See for example:

Why are my hamstrings tight even after stretching?

The reason your hamstrings feel tight is quite likely because they are in fact overstretched. Because we sit down much more than the human body likes to, we end up with tightness in the front of the thigh and in the lower back. Your hamstrings and backside muscles end up in a lengthened position while you sit.

How do I stop my hamstrings from being tight?

1. Stand with your spine in a neutral position.

2. Then place your right leg in front of you. ...
3. Gently lean forward while placing your hands on your bent right leg.
4. Be sure to keep your back straight to avoid hunching over your leg.
5. Hold this stretch for 10 seconds and work up to 30 seconds.

AFTER A MASSAGE TREATMENT ANALYSIS

What is the next step?

After the massage treatment, we will discuss the results of your full body analysis and your personalised action plan. Then you can adjust your exercise, sleep and other habits.

Massage Intage Forms

What is the purpose of an intake form?
A client intake form is a questionnaire i uses to essentially onboard its clients. It asks a client to provide information that can help me to determine whether that client is a good fit for selected service and shape a strategy to address that prospect's needs, interests, and pain points.

What is an intake form for massage?

Also known as client intake form, a massage intake form is a way by which therapists record patient contact information, specify policies, and get an idea of the patient's issues, problems and contraindications.

It is also an opportunity for the therapist to offer the client information about the intended therapy, as well as, lay down important legal rules and boundaries.
